Results for MDGA Summer 2019 Vshow

We had a great time participating the Vshow! It’s such a great tool for so many breeders that otherwise might never show their goats, as well as those that attend shows on a regular basis!

Really, the Vshow can be considered equivalent of a National Show due to the sheer number of wide spread of breeders that get involved with it! So really being in top 50% in any class is huge success, especially when you consider the summer show hit 220 animals this year!

Now… our herd results… we really were all over the place, but overall did very well and even had a surprise at the end!

1st, we entered BCF Legacy’s RRBA Lover Boy. He came last in his class under both judges, due to being the youngest/least mature and was unclipped.  But the judges still had nice things to say about him:

We had BCF Legacy’s BJR Heart Throb in the same class, more mature and properly clipped… he came 4th in ring 1 and 2nd in ring 2. A VERY competitive class with gorgeous bucklings from all over the country:

Next we had Goldy, she did quite well too considering just how big and competitive her class was! Out of 11 doelings, she came 3rd in ring 1 and 4th in ring 2!

Oh, and in the SR bucks class, Blackberry’s Moon Man (Golden Girls sire) too Grand Champion in ring!

Now for Senior Does…

Bunny (Rubystar BTR PC Bonny Bell) was entered in the yearling milkers class against 12 other yearling does from all over the country. She came 4th in ring 1 and 6th in ring 2:

And last, but certainly not least, our lovely 5 year old lady, Worththewaite Farm Rue *P…

She was a single entry in the 5 year Olds class, we were a little sad to see no competition there…

Rue then went on to the line up against the 1st and 2nd place winners of all the SR doe classes… and took Grand Champion! She also took Best Doe in Show and Best Udder In Show!

Since Rue already took Grand and Best in Show in the 2018 Fall Vshow, these wins make Rue a Virtual Master Champion!

New title: VMCH Worththewaite Farm Rue *P
