placed 1st in rings 1 and 2 of MDGA 2017 summer Vshow: “Entry B places over Entry A in General Appearance. Entry B is stronger in her topline and blends more smoothly from the loin into the rump. She also has more width in the chest floor and more width in the escutcheon area.” -Lavinia Allen “Fairly close pair of does but B places over A for the advantage she jas I body capacity, being much deeper into the chest floor. In general appearance, she has a longer bone pattern and more extension of brisket.” -Katie Wolf Obsidian went on to get 2x Reserve Champion Junior Doe!

Charcoal took 5th and 11th in her summer 2017 Vshow class. However, as a yearling she’s really blossomed and got top honors at the March Madness Dairy Goat Show!

Charcoal has not only accomplished a LOT as a 2nd freshener this year (2019), she’s already FINISHED HER CHAMPIONSHIP!!! You heard that right! Blackberry’s Chacoal is now a Finished Champion, earning her title “FCH” at just 2 years old!

Came 1st in rings 1 and 2, and took Reserve Champion in ring 1: “Entry A in General Appearance because he has a nice level topline with a little more height in the withers along with good angulation in his rear legs.” -Lavinia Allen “Single entry junior yearling showing a lot of strength in general appearance, being really level and fairly correct in feet and legs. He is balanced in body capacity. I’d like to see more length of bone and a higher escutcheon.” -Katie Wolf “I placed the Mini Nubian Jr Buck Reserve Champion as the Jr. Yearling Buckling for his General Appearance. He has a straighter topline uphill to his withers, smooth blending of the loin into the rump, a more desirable slope to the rump and he shows better angulation of the rear legs when viewed from the side. ” -Lavinia Allen

Also is dairy character being more angular throughout, and sharper about the withers.” -Timothy Bell “This is a very nice lineup of junior does with stiff competition. Today the grand champion junior doe will be the junior doeling. his doeling excels in general appearance being correct about the feet and legs, level along the topline, and smoothly blended from the neck into the withers. She also shows a strong amount of body capacity for her age both in depth and width. In dairy character being angular throughout, sharp in the withers, and high in the escutcheon.” -Timothy Bell
