We Hope to breed all our goats in November for April Kids:
We’re doing a repeat breeding of our Finished Master Champion Bebe to Moon Man for the 3rd year in a row. This has produced triplets the last 2 years, moonspots, great toplines, strong feet and legs, length of body we LOVE, and even decent briskets! Bucklings will also have their *B’s!
Gallon a day milk production from both sire’s dam (and grand dam) and dam!
Past kids have been EXTREMELY competitive, BCF Legacy’s Broadway Blonde (2017 doeling) took Reserve Champion Junior Doe in the Wine Country Classic 2018! She and her littermate brother, Broadway Sensation, also took 1st place in the v-show at just a few months old in 2017.
Moon Man has several kids in CA that are proving themselves and taking Grand, Reserve and Best in Show in Junior and Senior classes of both Live and Virtual shows!
We plan to reserve 1st doeling for ourselves as we love this pairing so much! But we are accepting 1 more doe reservation and 2 buck kid reservations!

Next we are hoping get some possibly polled and blue eyed genetics with super udder texture, teat placement, and medial definition for our herd.
We hope to be breeding WorthetheWaite Rue *P to Laz E. Acre’s Mr. Blue Jeans. This is not a repeat breeding and won’t be repeated in future as we plan to retain a Polled Buck Kid for our program and then sell Rue to a Great home to continue contributing to a family and to the mini nubian goat world.
We LOVE Rues easy to milk udder with her open orifices, perfectly sized teats, excellent teat placement, and well defined medial (while not being over-defined). Mr. Blue Jeans goes back to our FAVORITE of the Autumnwoods goats, Sassafras, who also has excellent medial and teat placement, as well as great udder texture. We feel these lines will combine nicely to help us continue improving our herd in the direction we want to go, and get us some Polled babies (we hope) as well.
Rue peaked at 1 1/2 gallons in 24 hours on twice a day milking as a 2nd freshener. We are SO happy with her and thrilled to keep her genetics to contribute further to our herd!
Like we said before, we will be retaining a Polled Buck Kid, but 2nd buck reservations as well as 1st and 2nd doe reservations are available for this pairing.

Next Up, We have Betty. We are thoroughly impressed with Betty’s milking abilities. We hope to milk test with her before we start breeding so she can earn her star and join our great team of Star Producers. She’s been milking over 5 lbs on 12 hour separation so far at 2 weeks fresh.
We’ve decided to breed Betty (Our first Home-Bred Doe) to our dear little buck, W4’s Sir Royal Roan. While Royal is not particularly splashy (Betty has enough of that), he is show quality. He took 2x Grand Champion Jr Buck in the 2013 Wine Country Classic as a 2 month old and has 2 VCH-Legs towards his v-show title. He will add correct ear set and length, and complement Betty’s width and bring down size while maintaining excellent stockiness and length of body.
We are limited in how many kids we can retain for ourselves this year, so won’t be keeping any from Betty this year. This means 2 buck and 2 doeling reservations are available!

ALL RESERVATIONS WILL BE FREE THIS YEAR. ONCE KIDS ARE BORN AND DECIDED WHO WILL BE AVAILABLE, PIX WILL BE SENT TO PEOPLE ON THE RESERVATIONS LIST. ONCE KIDS ARE SELECTED BY BUYERS A $100 DEPOSIT WILL HOLD THE KIDS TILL WEANING, WITH THE REMAINING FUNDS DUE AT TIME OF PICK UP.
